About the Centre for Development Communications

MICA has been actively involved in social communication since its inception. In 2002, it took a natural step forward to serve the field of developmental communications. The Centre for Developmental and Social Communications was thus established under the guidance of Prof. Atul Tandan, Director, MICA and Prof. Arbind Sinha, an experienced veteran in the field of developmental communications. The Centre undertakes projects and training programmes for the Government of India and various Indian state governments in the areas of health communication, watershed communication, water usage and sanitation communication.
