Forest and the People: A Study of the Impact of
Remote Sensing Technology on Joint Forest Management.
The project is funded by Indian Space Research Organisation,
Bangalore.

• Project Leader for Communication Support
programme of SWASTHA SANCHAR, conducted by Self
Employed Women’s Association (SEWA), under
DFID funding (2006-07).
• Carried out ‘System Requirements
Study in Mizoram and Madhya Pradesh’. The
study was sponsored by Space Applications Centre,
Ahmedabad (2003)
• Coordinated ‘Socio-economic Impact
of Watershed Development In Gujarat’ (2003-04),
Funded by Government of Gujarat.
Training Programmes
• Designed and conducted TWO training programmes
of 15 days each for IEC officials from Chhattisgarh
province of India (2004).
• Designed and conducted TEN training programmes
of 15 days each for IEC officials from Gujarat province
of India (2005-06).
• Designed and conducted SEVEN training programmes
of 6 days each for Block Health Officers from Gujarat
province of India (2006).

Critical Review of Existing Materials vis-à-vis
the Project Objectives- Why and How To Do It? Teaching
module prepared for Commonwealth Educational Media
Centre for Asia, New Delhi. The module is already
in use for their training. (2004)
